"Missing Manila"

Siguro dahil sa pagod sa flight kagabi and sa lakad namin kahapon, di ko masyado naramdaman na ang layo ko na pala sa Pilipinas. But it all sank in last night, when for the first time we were trying to reach people from the Philippines para makibalita. Parang bigla ako nasabik na makausap sila lahat.

One person I truly miss is Che who definitely is a big part of my life. Though medyo matagal na naman kami nakapagdecide na magSingapore, di pa din talaga namin naisip how it would be until now. Nakakapanibago kasi... sanay kasi ako na pagdating sa office ka-chat agad si che. "Good morning che".. or minsan sya nauuna... "good morning tin"... Everyday ganyan kami. Daig pa namin ang magboyfriend. Biruin nyo pati paglunch break at madalas pati cr break ng isat-isa alam namin. Grabe talaga! Sobrang nakakamiss. So what I did today, since we had the wifi set up last night, first thing I did when I woke up this morning is to turn on my pc and log on to yahoo messenger. Gusto ko lang na gawin yung usual routine namin ni Che. Che and Cel are two of the most precious people I really care for. Partners in crime kasi kaming tatlo. Glad I have them both as friends. Sobrang namimiss ko si Che, but I know it is much harder for Che since naiwan namin siya magisa sa Pinas. Naiyak nga ako when I read her posting sa blog. Sobrang nakakalungkot, iba pa rin talaga kasi pag alam mong andyan lang yung friend mo, abot kamay, pwede kayo magkita anytime na gusto ninyo, pwede kayo magtelebabad kung kelan nyo gusto at pwede kayong magtitigan lang nang walang sinasabing kahit anumang salita. Alam ko na andyan si Mon but it is still different pag your friends are around. Hopefully, everything goes well for us here para if we can settle early we can once in a while go back to Manila and visit Che and our families. Love you Che.

Missing my family. Si Papa ko namimiss ko na. Sana naaalagaan siya mabuti sa bahay. Sobrang naging dependent kasi si Papa sa akin since he had his stroke last 2001. I miss mama, paul and all our dogs... Haay... sana naaalagaan dogs namin. Sana may magpaligo at magpakain sa kanila.

Missing my boyfriend, my bhe. Late night calls till morning, our "out of the country" trips. Miss you so much bhe, pumunta ka na dito dali!!!! Hehe.

Too early you may say but forgive me talagang namimiss ko agad sila e and I still have a long way to go...

"Visit Pass"

Ako ay kinakabahan, hindi ko alam kung pano ako haharap sa immigration officer. First time to fly abroad, very frightening but exciting experience.



We were so excited to land Singapore so we said we had to have a picture taken by the side of the plane. But to our amazement, we were immediately confronted by the airport official to warn us that picture taking is prohibited. No choice but to delete the picture taken... sorry but no souvenir for my first landing abroad. So we carried on... went to immigration section and lined up. Si Cel and si Neil sa kabilang linya pumila pero mali pala yung line na napilahan nila. It was for residents and greencard holders only. So they went to the end of the line where I am at. Naku, hindi ako sanay na nauuna ako sa pila. At NAIA before we left for Singapore, it was Cel and Neil who was in charge of everything... nakikisunod lang ako... salingpusa ba. Kaya I was very very anxious nung ako na yung nauna sa pila. When my turn came, I just tried to stay calm and answer all the questions that the officer was asking. Buti nalang nakalusot si TINTIN... kundi baka nagpapasundo na ako sa airport sa Manila at nagmumukmok... hehehe. Whew....
